To guarantee the quality of training our instructors hold their NVQ trade/industry qualification,
Full Level 3 Learning and Development Award (teaching qualification), individual ‘L’ units, and
are also A1 approved Awarding Body for Construction assessors.
These qualifications enable them to assess candidates for N.V.Q. level 2 qualifications via
the New Entrant / O.S.A.T. route, and Intermediate Construction Awards (New Entrant).
The workshop at the Academy is designed to hold a maximum of seven students, each being allocated
their own tiling booth, with one booth set out for training based assessments.
All tuition is delivered ‘in house’. Health and safety legislation will not allow any student
to train out ‘on site’ without a CSCS card.
It is essential you bring suitable working clothes or overalls and steel toe cap safety shoes.
Safety glasses, latex gloves and masks are provided and must be worn when applicable.
Health and Safety regulations must be conformed to at all times.
